Jack Roush owner and pilot of restored P-51 Mustangs "Old Crow" and "Glamorous Glen III"

Fantasy Flight

While visiting Phoenix in November 2003 for the NASCAR race, Jack Roush told me about a fantasy flight he hoped to make with his beautiful P-51 Mustangs. He wanted to recreate a condition he had experienced during winter flight conditions in Michigan and capture it on film. This would involve flying the Mustangs at high altitude in the early morning and creating contrails. Jack has made the flight with friend Ed Bowlin and here are the fantastic images.

Watch a video clip from this awesome flight.
